32 ounce glass growlerGrowlers Arriving Next Week
What in the world is a Growler?
Growlers are reusable jugs of fresh keg beers from our in-store tap systems.  Purchase a growler and have it filled from our ever changing assortment of fresh and seasonal beers on tap

When you look in your fridge and find your growler empty, just bring it back in to Fine Wine and Beer to purchase a refill.  Our constantly changing draft beers varieties cover a wide range of craft beer favorites and quality imported beers.
A sticker will be fixed over the stopper-closure of the growler to comply with open-container restrictions.  Don't open your growler until you arrive at your destination!
How long does the beer last in the growler?
Unopened, 7-10 days.   Once opened, 2 days is the max.  We recommend no more than 36 hours.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR GROWLER
Once you are the proud owner of your own jug of beer, Gus offers a few tips on taking care of it.

1. KEEP IT FRESH: Freshly poured beer won't stay fresh for long, so keep it in the fridge.  Unopened, it'll last for a week or two at most but once you open it pour it off in a couple of days.

2. TREAT IT GENTLY: “Don't let it jostle around,” recommends Gus as that will kill the carbonation in the beer, especially if it has already been opened.

3. CHECK YOUR SUDS: If your growler has been sitting for a few days gently rotate it as the first beer poured is a little thinner and less flavorful.

4. TIDY UP: We DO NOT clean growlers.  If you clean it as soon as it is emptied, just a hot water rinse will do the trick.   A soap & water rinse will work if it sat around for a night.  Just make sure you rinse it well to remove all of the soap, as even a minimal amount of soap residue will affect the beer.  Do NOT put in the dishwasher.
We give the growlers a sniff before we fill them.  If it is dirty, we will not fill them, and by law we can not clean them for you. We will gladly sell you another!
