Mission Statement

Fine Wine and Beer by Gus was created to sell wine and beer.

In doing so, we hope to honor and respect the craft and culture of fine wine and quality beer. Grapes and hops are grown by farmers and perfected by artisans from around the world. We bring a little of that world to you.

While the delight and joy of this consumable art form is a passion, we also feel a grave responsibility for the welfare and safety of our community. We shall be diligent in imparting our knowledge, our passion and our products within the strictest letter of the law.

Our products are to be enjoyed by those of legal age, in moderation, and with responsibility.

Gus offers the area's most extensive selection of both wine and craft beer, as well as accessories.  Gus offers an unparalleled shopping experience through their expansive level of knowledge, service and selection.  Specializing in customer satisfaction and all around "wine geekiness", Gus also offers special event wine pairing, hard to find bottles, private cellar consultation and custom orders.

Andrew "Gus" Clark

Andrew has over 20 years of experience in the world of retail, wine and food.  From Miami to Austin and Chicago to Auburn; he brings his knowledge, passion and personality to the best little bottle shop in town.

Gus has held the honor of host at several tastings in town; from the Jule Collins Smith Musuem of Fine Art, Arricia Italian Trattoria and Bar, to the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and several civic, charitable and church organizations.

Gus continues his passionate pursuit today as a store owner, wine consultant and educator who teaches others about oenology, wine collecting and buying.
