Cork taint:
Wines that are un-sound as a result of winemaking, i.e. re-fermenting wine or cork taint can be exchanged by contacting us. We require the return of the bottle for analysis; you must return ¾ of a bottle for testing.
Natural occurrences:
Potassium sodium, tartrate crystal drop or sediment drop is not a defect and not returnable. These are natural occurrences and common with boutique winemakers. The appearance of these two processes are natural and do not affect the quality.
Cork sealing issues:
Many of the very small boutique wines are hand made and you may experience some cork leakage or staining. This is a common occurrence. Leakage is not a sign of damage.
Older Vintages:
Following industry tradition, all bottles ten years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk. All wine that we sell is sound and correct. Circumstances are not under our control and Fine Wine and Beer cannot be held accountable for a decade of storage.
